Abstract
Since its inception, Dewey’s theory of knowing has had a significant impact on science and education, sparking heated debate among academics. The purpose of this paper is to explain what the theory of knowing is and what its four characteristics are. The relationship between theory of knowing, pragmatism, and mixed methods will be articulated based on this.
