Abstract

This paper explores the narrative strategies employed in film storytelling that are centered on women, examining how these techniques contribute to the portrayal and understanding of gendered perspectives. By analyzing a selection of films, this study seeks to uncover how filmmakers utilize narrative tools to challenge or reinforce traditional gender roles and expectations. The paper also considers the impact of these narrative choices on audience reception and interpretation, highlighting the importance of gender-sensitive storytelling in contemporary cinema.
