Chinese Family Education in the Context of Chinese-Western Cultural Integration
In the 21st century, the world has witnessed an unprecedented level of interconnectedness, driven by economic globalization, technological advancements, and the widespread dissemination of information. This interconnectedness has led to a profound exchange and integration of cultures, particularly between the East and the West. China, with its rich historical and cultural heritage, has been actively engaging in this cultural dialogue, and one of the most significant arenas where this interaction is evident is in the realm of family education. As traditional Chinese educational values collide and merge with Western educational philosophies, Chinese family education is undergoing a transformative process, presenting both opportunities for growth and complex challenges that require careful consideration.
