This study aimed to investigate the current status of mental health literacy among primary and secondary school teachers. A cross-sectional questionnaire survey was conducted using a validated Mental Health Literacy Scale. A total of 359 teachers from primary and secondary schools participated in the survey. Results indicated that, overall, teachers’ mental health literacy was at a moderate level. Significant differences in mental health literacy were observed across several demographic variables, including age, experience as a homeroom teacher, educational attainment, workplace type, full-time versus part-time engagement in mental health education, and possession of a formal mental health teacher qualification certificate.
