In the context of energy structure transformation, digital and intelligent technologies have been introduced into the field of hydropower, which has accelerated the technological and equipment innovation of hydropower plants. However, it has also brought severe challenges to the operation and maintenance of hydropower plants. Traditional hydropower plant operation and maintenance suffer from problems such as low efficiency, equipment aging, and high labor costs, which seriously hinder the innovation and upgrading of hydropower plant operation and maintenance. Therefore, this article focuses on the operation and maintenance of hydropower plants, summarizes a series of innovative strategies, and applies them in practice to effectively improve the operation and maintenance level of hydropower plants.
