Abstract
Serine metabolism is becoming more and more important in a variety of cancers. This paper reviews the discovery of serine synthesis pathway and its imbalance in cancer, and the recent research results on serine metabolism in cancer, and also discuss on how serine metabolism plays a role in cancer.
