Human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER-2) is a transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase that is overexpressed in various solid tumors and is closely related to tumor invasion, metastasis, and poor prognosis. In recent years, the expression of HER-2 in colorectal cancer and its clinical significance have gradually attracted attention. This article reviews the expression of HER-2 in colorectal cancer, the clinicopathological characteristics of HER-2 positive colorectal cancer, the detection methods of HER-2, and the drug treatment targeting HER-2, to provide references for clinical diagnosis and treatment and research.
