Abstract

Objective: To explore the effect of the PDCA cycle combined with information technology on the treatment intervention of Chinese herbal medicines. Methods: Traditional medication intervention was implemented from July 2022 to June 2023, and 57 patients who received Chinese herbal medicine treatment during this period were selected as the control group. The PDCA cycle combined with information technology was implemented from July 2023 to June 2024, and 56 patients who received Chinese herbal medicine treatment during this period were selected as the experimental group. Various indicators were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher, and the incidence of unreasonable prescriptions and adverse reactions was significantly lower than that of the control group. Conclusion: The combination of the PDCA cycle and information technology can improve the overall efficacy of Chinese herbal medicines, reduce the incidence of unreasonable prescriptions and adverse reactions, and ensure the safe use of Chinese herbal medicines. It is worthy of promotion and application.
