Abstract

Excellent traditional culture is the root of our nation, it has been deeply integrated into the national blood. It contains rich national culture and national spirit, including values, aesthetics, ideology, ethics and other aspects, which is the survival and development of the nation’s fundamental. Under the ideological and political vision of the curriculum, integrating excellent traditional culture into college English teaching can not only enrich the teaching content, expand the teaching form and improve the teaching effect, but also encourage students to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional culture, establish a correct value orientation and ideological concepts, and lay a foundation for their all-round development. In this regard, this paper briefly analyzes the path of integrating excellent traditional culture into college English teaching under the curriculum’s ideological and political vision, hoping to provide readers with some valuable references.
