As China’s vocational education enters a stage of high-quality development, higher vocational colleges, as the main positions for cultivating technical and skilled talents, must not only attach importance to the improvement of students’ professional skills but also pay attention to their mental health. Positive psychology focuses on the exploration, cultivation, and enhancement of human positive psychological qualities, providing a new theoretical perspective and practical guidance for mental health education in higher vocational colleges. Based on this, this paper briefly analyzes the inherent consistency and practical dilemmas between positive psychology and mental health education in higher vocational colleges, and explores corresponding innovative paths, aiming to provide theoretical references for improving the effectiveness of mental health education in higher vocational colleges and promoting students’ all-round development.
