This paper explores the application of cross-border cooperation models such as school-enterprise cooperation, school-local cooperation and school-school cooperation in ecological civilization education. It is found that cross-border cooperation models can significantly improve the effect of ecological civilization education, but still face challenges such as an imperfect cooperation mechanism and a single cooperation content. To address these challenges, suggestions are put forward, such as strengthening policy support, improving cooperation mechanisms, enriching cooperation contents, establishing effective incentive and restraint mechanisms, and strengthening the tracking and evaluation of results.
